The youth, who travelled in the same Indigo flight from New Delhi to Guwahati with the COVID19 positive patient from Mizoram, tested negative.
The test results came out on Saturday.
Along with him, the test results of two other youths, who came in contact with him, were also found negative.
One of them is the driver, who went to pick up the youth from the airport.

The people of the district have breathed a sigh of relief as the test results were found negative.
Currently, there are seven people, who have been kept in the isolation ward of Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital.
Out of them, two persons are from Sonitpur district and the others are from the Golaghat district.
The people from Sonitpur were admitted to the hospital with symptoms of cough and fever detected during regular screening conducted at Sarupathar railway station.
“Two persons used to work in Kerala and after their arrival at their respective homes, the neighbours informed us about them and as a precautionary measure they have been kept in isolation,” said Uttam Dutta, superintendent of Kushal Konwar civil hospital here.
“All these patients are male and within the age group of 30 to 50 years. We have sent their samples to the laboratory and three of those have been found negative,” said Dutta.
Regarding the other cases, Dutta said during the period of isolation they have not showed any sign or symptoms.
For testing samples for COVID19, there are certain guidelines set by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
As the samples of these patients did not fulfill the guidelines, therefore their samples have not been tested by the ICMR and the patients will be discharged in a day or two.
“As of today, there are a total of 250 dedicated COVID19 isolation beds in the entire Golaghat district,” Dilip Rajbongshi, member of the District COVID19 Task Force, told Northeast Now.
“If any situation arises then we are also in a position to convert the Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital into a COVID19 hospital,” he added.
Meanwhile, Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal visited Golaghat on Saturday and during his visit he announced that the government would establish five COVI10 hospitals across the state.
Those hospitals will be set up in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Bongaigaon and Silchar.
