A three-day workshop on ‘Science, Engineering and Technology for Sustainable Development’ will be held at Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), Tezpur, from January 20 to January 22, 2020.
A GIMT release on Saturday informed that Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has collaborated for the workshop, which is being sponsored by Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP)-III.
Several competitions have been lined up for the workshop for the participating students.
Apart from a competition showcasing science-related models, the workshop will also have a competition on innovative idea presentation and an essay writing competition. in two categories.
The first category of the essay competition is for the students between Class IX to Class XII and the second category is for the undergraduate students.
The winners will be awarded attractive prizes including cash rewards and certificates.
