The second phase of nationwide lockdown has affected every sector and has crippled normal life, especially that of students.

With schools and colleges closed due to COVID-19 pandemic, the student community has suffered an immense loss.

However, a section of students in Baksa district who have been forced to sit at home adapted with the situation and they appeared in an online examination held via WhatsApp.

The step adapted by the school authorities has been appreciated by the locals and they termed it as a timely step.

The examination began at 9-30 am and it was held for one hour.

The examination was conducted by Dr Ananta Academy situated at Jalah, adjacent to Barpeta district.

The guardians of the students acted as invigilators.
