The Orange Zone tag of Dhubri district in Assam has now been withdrawn with immediate effect and accordingly the district is now limping back to normal.
Regular life resumed and movement of people and business transaction began by opening establishments from 7 am to 4 pm every day which are now permissible.
Although, stand alone shops, grocery shops and pharmacy including veterinary clinics will be kept open every day while shopping complex, cinema halls, shopping malls, salon, beauty parlours, restaurants, gymnasium, hotels and lodges etc will remain closed until further order.
However, the rest of the category shops will be opened on rotation basis on alternative days.
The order regarding this signed by the Dhubri deputy commissioner Ananta Lal Gyani said the owners of the shops will ensure that they will arrange hand washing and all the workers of their establishments will wear face mask while selling items/working in the establishment and the norms of social distancing is also to be maintained by the staffs and customers.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday mobile shops, hardware, paint shop, sanitary shops, rod iron wire shops, cycle shops, electric and electronics shops, utensils shops, auto mobile spare parts shop/gas stove repairing shop will remain open.
While the sweet shops, bakery (only permanent shops having food license), fruits, vegetables and milk (doorstep delivery), medical stores, auto garage (repairing works should be done inside the premises on every day.
On the other hand, readymade garments shops, saree and cloth shops, shoe shops, printing press and flex print, optical shops, books, stationery and rubber stamp, furniture, bags etc shops, jewellery shops,tailoring (permanent establishment), cosmetics and general stores will remain open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
