DIBRUGARH: The police in Dibrugarh district of Assam have rebutted media reports claiming detention of Chinese nationals at the airport.
In a statement, the Assam police clarified the situation, stating, “Please note that Chinese nationals have not been detained by Dibrugarh police. They have been escorted to Tinsukia, where they will stay for a day.”
It is worth noting that earlier reports suggested that three Chinese diplomats were detained at Dibrugarh airport in Assam on Wednesday (March 27).
