The two-day conference of Superintendents of Police in Assam will be held on Monday in presence of the Chief Minister and other senior Assam Police personnel in Duliajan.
The Chief Minister will formally kickstart the Covid-19 vaccination in Assam for the 15 to 18 years age category at the OIL Higher Secondary School in Duliajan prior to the SPs conference.
More than 120 officers will participate in the conference.

The key discussions related to the law and order situation of the state will be discussed at the conference.
The last SP conference was held at Kaziranga, where various discussions were taken to strengthen the law and order situation of Assam.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and top police officials have already reached Dibrugarh for the two-day conference.

This will be the second SP conference after chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took oath as Assam CM.
Power Minister Bimal Bora said that conferences like these are aimed to encourage and inspire over 70 thousand police personnel of the State.
