Rising population is a big problem in itself and tremendous population growth has brought a crisis on human civilization.

No government has taken any step in this direction till now.

In the year 2017, an organization called Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation was established.

This organization started working in this direction taking population control as a mission.

On Thursday, Mayukh Goswami, Srawan Kr Jha, Kailash Patowari, Sabin Deka and Manmohan Deka from Darang district in Assam of the same organization raised their demands in front of Mangaldai Post Office and sent a memorandum in support of their demand in letters through Indian Postal Service to five offices in the Union Ministry which includes the PMO, Home Minister and BJP President.

In the memorandum, the organization clearly stated that the country is in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic and amidst the depletion of resources and the global economic market struggling to eradicate poverty, the resources needed to build world-class infrastructure, state-of-the-art military, globally competitive skilled workforce, modern and accessible health care, etc are unexpected due to this population explosion.

Instead of returning the demographic dividend in the process of nation building, the growing population is causing collapse with increasing social tensions in many parts of the country, so it is imperative to bring in population control laws.
