Assam has registered 95 more Covid19 positive cases, taking the overall tally to 4,605.

Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his latest tweet on the state’s Covid19 status said Jorhat has reported 21 positive cases, Golaghat has reported 20 cases, Hailakandi has reported 12 cases while 6 positive cases have been detected in Dibrugarh.

Karbi Anglong district has reported 6 positive cases while Kamrup Rural district has reported 6 cases, Dhemaji has reported 4 cases, Barpeta district has reported 4 cases and same number of positive cases have been reported from Cachar.

Bongaigaon district has reported 3 positive cases, Nagaon has reported 2 cases, 2 cases have been reported from Udalguri, 1 each positive case has been reported from Dima Hasao and Sonitpur districts and 2 other cases have been reported from TBA.

“Alert ~ 95 #COVID19+ cases.  21 Jorhat, 20 G’ghat, 12 H’kandi, 6 D’garh, 6 Kamrup, 7 K Anglong, 4 Dhemaji, 4 Barpeta, 4 Cachar, 3 B’gaon, 2 Nagaon, 2 U’guri, 1 D’Hasao, 1 S’pur, 2 TBA,” health minister Sarma said in the tweet.

With the new cases, the number of active Covid19 cases in Assam stands at 2,183.

Earlier, a total of 2,411 Covid19 patients have been discharged from the various district, civil, model, and medical college hospitals across Assam.

The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 8 persons so far while 3 cases have migrated from the state.

“Total cases 4605. Recovered 2411. Active cases 2183. Deaths 08,” Sarma added.
