Congress leader and former MLA from Dergaon constituency in Assam, Aroti Hazarika Kachari is no more.
Aroti Hazarika Kachari, was reportedly suffering from heart ailment.
Aroti Hazarika Kachari passed away at the age of 59 in Dergaon.
Aroti Hazarika Kachari died in a hospital in Dergaon, Golaghat.
Aroti Hazarika Kachari served as an MLA during the Tarun Gogoi-led Government in Assam from 2011 to 2016.
She lost the polls to AGP’s Bhabendra Nath Bharali in the last Assembly Elections held in Assam.
Meanwhile, reactions have started to pour in from different sections condoling the former MLA’s demise.
