Oxygen concentrators.

The medical superintendent of Uluoni Community Health Centre in Assam’s Nagaon district received 50 internationally-certified oxygen concentrators from the Centre for Cellular and Molecular  Platforms (C-CAMP).

The health centre received the oxygen concentrators as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funded donation.

This is a part of C-CAMP’s larger mandate to augment hospital infrastructure in various parts of the country with lifesaving technologies.

As part of COVID19 relief and 3rd wave preparation efforts, the Nagaon deputy commissioner’s office has been actively working with public and private partners to ensure sufficient healthcare resources will be available, said an official statement.

C-CAMP is a key partner in these efforts along with the office of the principal scientific advisor (PSA) to the Government of India.

The rapid and safe delivery of these critical equipment has been made possible through shipping partner Prakash Freight Movers Limited which has made concessions for COVID19 relief shipping.

The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) is an initiative supported by Department of Biotechnology of the Union Ministry of Science and Technology, NITI Aayog-AIM, Electronics and IT Ministry and Department of IT, BT, S&T Government of Karnataka.

It is one of the largest and premier life science innovations, technology and entrepreneurship hubs in India.

C-CAMP has directly funded, incubated and mentored more than 200 start-ups over the last few years and is connected to about 2000-plus start ups and innovators across the country in healthcare, agritech, cleantech and biotech domains.
