The chief executive member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro reviewed the Covid19 situation in Udalguri district.
Pramod Boro had a review meeting at the conference hall of the Udalguri Deputy Commissioner’s office on Monday.
During the meeting, Boro stressed on the need of implementation of the Orunodoi scheme in Udalguri district.
During the meeting, while reviewing the current COVID19 situation in Udalguri district, Pramod Boro handed over 1,065 Oxymeters and 1,065 thermal scanners to the deputy commissioner.
The Oxymeters and thermal scanners will be distributed to the ASHA workers for enabling them to screen public for any symptoms of COVID19.
The meeting was also graced by Mangaldoi Lok Sabha MP Dilip Saikia, Udalguri MLA Gobinda Chandra Basumatari along with executive members and MCLAs of Bodoland Territorial Region.
Besides Udalguri deputy commissioner Dr. P. Uday Praveen, all circle officers and block development officers of Udalguri also participated the meeting.
In the meeting, the roadmap for implementation of the Orunodoi scheme and Re-SVAYEM was elaborated.
Mangaldoi Lok Sabha MP Dilip Saikia expressed hope for good governance and overall development in the Bodo belt under the the current council government.
Udalguri deputy commissioner Praveen briefed the progress and status of Orunudoi scheme implementation in the district.
BTR CEM Boro asked all the officers present in the meeting to implement both the flagship schemes of the Assam government to extend the benefits to the poor households suffering during this COVID19 pandemic.
