BTC administrator Rajesh Prasad on Saturday said government officials must be responsive to the people.

He said this at a review meeting in Mushalpur.

He also appealed to the officers of various departments to think from the perspective of the people.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner of Baksa Ranjan Sharma.

The newly appointed administrator Prasad took stock of ongoing schemes under various departments inthe district.

He asked the officials of water resource, PHE, PWD, Agriculture to accomplish their ongoing schemes before the forthcoming monsoon session.

Prasad asked the district veterinary officer about the production of egg and the health of the pigs.

He ordered superintendent of Food& Civil supplies to distribute rice to non-NFSA card holder in proper maner.

He also asked all ADCs, civil SDOs and circle officers to visit and verify the ongoing schemes of different departments under their respective areas and submit the report to the deputy commissioner immediately.

He also reiterated that BTC was formed for the faster development of this area so he requested all to to work for the betterment of this under developed district.
