A marriage party came under attack after miscreants pelted stones on a bus (AS 01H C 3977) on the Barpeta road.
The miscreants pelted stones on the bus which was journeying from Sarbhog’s Chuliakata and was on its way to Sivasagar. The bus decorated with flowers and banana plants was on NH 31.
When the miscreants pelted stones, they broke the window panes of the bus.
It is to be mentioned that the All Assam Bengali Youth Students’ Federation (AABYSF) has called for 24-hour Assam Bandh on Saturday over the horrific killing of five people in Tinsukia on Thursday.
The police has also detained 15 picketers.
