The Sivasagar district administration in association with the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad on Friday accorded farewell to the outgoing Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha in a meeting held at the Circuit House of Sivasagar in eastern Assam.
During the meeting, CEO of Zilla Parishad, Sewali Bordoloi, District Development Commissioner (I/C) Nawab Al Azhar Ali, SDO (Civil) of Nazira Rajib Thapa, ADC Moon Gogoi, ADC Ashwini Doley, District Information and Public Relations Officer Syeda Hasnahana and several other officials shared their experiences of working with the outgoing Deputy Commissioner.
The outgoing Deputy Commissioner on his part also shared his association with the officials and expressed that his tenure as the Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar was a pleasurable experience which he would cherish in his memories. He also thanked the officers and staff of the district administration as well as the office of the CEO, Zilla Parishad for extending all out cooperation throughout his tenure.
It may be noted that Deputy Commissiner Jha has joined as the Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh on January 17, 2019.
Meanwhile, Cachar Deputy Commissioner Dr S Lakshmanan has been posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar. He is expected to take charge shortly.
The farewell meeting was attended by the Circle Officers, Block Development Officers, Election Officers of Sivasagar and Nazira and other officers and staff of the district administration as well as the office of the CEO, Zilla Parishad.
The farewell meeting was followed by lunch.
