The Assam Government through a notification has effected a reshuffle in the Home Department at the Superintendent of Police (SP) level in the State.
As per the notification, issued by Dr Deepak Majumdar, Secretary to the Government of Assam, Home (A) Department, on June 27, 2018, Inam-Ul-Haq-Megnoo, Superintendent of Police (West Karbi Anglong), Hamren, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, CDO Battalion, Mandakata, North Guwahati, against existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking over charge and further orders.
On the other hand, Mrinal Talukdar, Commandant, 2nd AFPF Battalion, Jagiroad, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (West Karbi Anglong), Hamren, as a replacement of Inam-Ul-Haq-Megnoo, who has been transferred.
Through the same order, Ratna Singha, Superintendent of Police, SB (E), Assam, Kahilipara in Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, SB (Zonal), in place of IH Bora, Superintendent of Police, who has been transferred.
IH Bora, Superintendent of Police, SB (Zonal), Assam, Kahilipara in Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, SB (E), as replacement of Ratna Singha, who has been transferred.
On the other hand, Hiranya Barman, Superintendent of Police FRRO (Headquarters), Jorhat, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 1st APTF Battalion, Dakurvita in Goalpara, against the existing vacancy.
As per the Government notification, Utpal Bayan Superintendent of Police, FRRO (Headquarters), Bongaigaon, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 2nd AFPF Battalion, Jagiroad, as replacement of Mrinal Talukdar, who has been transferred.
