The 166th Defence Pension Adalat will be organised by the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (PCDA), Allahabad under the aegis of the Red Horns Division at Red Horns Auditorium in Assam’s Rangia under Kamrup (Rural) district on April 5 and 6, 2019.

According to a press communique, issued by Guwahati-based defence PRO Lt Col P Khongsai, the 166th Defence Pension Adalat will start from 8:30 am onward to dispel all pension related anomalies and grievances for all districts of Assam and nearby districts of Meghalaya.

In the press communique the defence PRO informed that all veterans, ex-servicemen and veer naris/war widows, attending the event should bring the Pension Payment Order (PPO), Identity Card, bank passbook and discharge documents.

For any query and assistance, the veterans, ex-servicemen and veer naris/war widows have been urged to contact at 9149777485 & 09759937201.

According to information, any defence pensioners including family pensioners / defence civilian pensioners and their families having any specific grievances relating to sanction or disbursement of defence pension can submit their representation, in writing, in duplicate to : Pension Adalat Officer, O/o Principal CDA (Pensions), Draupadi Ghat,  Allahabad-211014.

According to information available on the website of the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions)  – www.pcdapension.nic.in – a format of the representation is given on the website.

Applicants have been advised to apply as per the format or registration on line through the website, for easy processing of their applications.

TA/DA expenditure will not be reimbursed to the pensioners/individuals attending the Adalat for redressal of their pension related problems.

Applications can either be sent by post, r-mail or by registration.

“Each application will be allotted a unique Adalat Registration Number. The same should be quoted in all future correspondence. Incomplete and unsigned representations will be rejected,” said Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pension) on its official website.
