Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday registered 41 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 650.

Sharing the data on the state’s latest COVID19 update on Saturday, shared on its Twitter handle, the directorate of health services, Arunchal Pradesh, said out of the 41 new cases, 18 cases have been reported from Itanagar Capital Region (ICR).

While 10 positive cases have been reported from the Lower Siang district, Papum Pare district has reported 6 positive cases and Lower Dibang Valley has reported 3 positive cases, Lower Subansiri has reported 2 cases and
West Kameng has reported 2 cases.

The health department said all the infected patients are “asymptomatic” except one patient.

All the infected patients have been shifted to the Covid Care Centre (CCC).

Meanwhile, a total of 99 other patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been discharged from the Covid Care Centres after they tested negative for the virus.

Of the discharged patients, 97 recovered patients were discharged from Itanagar Capital Region while 2 other recovered patients were discharged from Namsai.

All the discharged patients have been asked to strictly follow 14-day home quarantine norms.

According to the health department data, a total of 274 COVID19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals in Arunachal Pradesh so far while there are 373 active cases and 3 other positive patients have died of infection in the state.
