Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu laid the foundation stone for government polytechnic at Anini in Dibang Valley near China border district on Monday.
This polytechnic would benefit people from all over the district, even the remotest corners of the state.
CM Khandu also laid the foundation stone for Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) at Anini.
He thanked PM Narendra Modi for the grant of Rs 15 crore under Border Area Development Programme and MoS for Home Affairs for pursuing the matter further.
Also 96 members from Anini Assembly constituency consisting of Zilla Parishad Chairperson, panchayat leaders and others joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Anini.
