Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Arunachal Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Research Assistant (RA) in an ICSSR sponsored research project titled “The Ollo Tribes of Eastern Arunachal Pradesh and their Cultural Heritage” in the Department of Anthropology. The recruitment will be purely on temporary basis for a six months period only. Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) (formerly Arunachal University) is the oldest university in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located at Rono Hills in Doimukh town, about 28km from the state capital, Itanagar. The then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi laid The foundation stone for the university in 1984. The university became Rajiv Gandhi University in 2005 when UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was on a visit to the state. Rajiv Gandhi University is a Central University under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India since 9 April 2007. It is an accredited university under the University Grants Commission.

Qualification :
Post graduate in Social Science discipline (55% minimum) with NET/ M.Phil./ Ph.D.
Salary : Rs. 37000/- per month
Selection Procedure :
A walk-in-interview will be held on 6th June 2024 at 10 AM in Department of Anthropology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh
No TA/ DA will altogether be provided for appearing in the interview
