Rajiv Gandhi University Arunachal Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or jobs of Teaching Assistant in various departments under the Institute of Department of Undergraduate Studies. Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) (formerly Arunachal University) is the oldest university in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located at Rono Hills in Doimukh town, about 28km from the state capital, Itanagar. The then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi laid The foundation stone for the university in 1984. The university became Rajiv Gandhi University in 2005 when UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was on a visit to the state. Rajiv Gandhi University is a Central University under the Ministry of Human Resource Development  (MHRD),  Government of India since 9 April 2007. It is an accredited university under the University Grants Commission.

Eligibility Criteria : Master’s degree in relevant disciplines with minimum 55% marks or equivalent and passed NET / SLET / SET

Salary : Rs. 1000/- per class to a maximum of Rs. 35000/- per month

Desirable : One year experience of working in the field with an independent / autonomous / non-government organization along with mandatory field component at Master’s level is desirable
