Union home minister Amit Shah will visit Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.
Home minister Shah will attend the 34th Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh as the chief guest at 11:15 am.
The Statehood Day celebration will be held at IG Park, Itanagar.
Sharing a promo of the programme, the Office of the Home Minister of India tweeted: “Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah will be the Chief Guest at 34th Statehood Day celebration of Arunachal Pradesh tomorrow in Itanagar.”

According to reports, the union home minister will also lay the foundation stone of the new headquarters of the Arunachal Pradesh Police.
Shah will also launch the Arunachal Pradesh Industrial and Investment Policy, 2020 and inaugurate the Joram Koloriang Road being constructed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).
Arunachal Pradesh became a full-fledged state on February 20, 1987.
Till 1972, it was known as the North East Frontier Agency (NEFA).
It gained the Union Territory status on January 20, 1972 and was renamed as Arunachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu inspected the preparations for the 34th Statehood Day celebration of Arunachal Pradesh.
Sharing some images of the preparations, Khandu tweeted: “Inspected this afternoon the ongoing preparation for the celebration of 34th StatehoodDay of Arunachal in Itanagar.”
He also informed: “Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah will be the Chief Guest at 34th Statehood Day celebration of Arunachal Pradesh tomorrow in Itanagar.”
