165 test positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday reported 165 fresh cases of Covid-19.

With this the total positive cases in the state has increased to 34,932.

However, no death was reported in the past 24 hours and the death toll stands at 167.

There are 2,495 active cases at present.

A total of 32,270 people have recovered from the infection so far in the state.

Meanwhile, the Arunachal Pradesh government received 28,320 doses of the Covishield vaccine from the Centre.

The state government has been intensifying vaccination in the state as a means to break the chain of infection by the virus.
