The yearlong golden jubilee celebration of All Bodo Students’ Union came to its end on Sunday at Banasur Fwthar in Tezpur.
Former advocate general of Maharastra Prof Srihari Aney while stressing on a separate state for the Bodos said the government should come forward to settle the Bodoland issue without any delay for establishing peace in the region.

Addressing the closing ceremony, the founder of Super 30 in Patna, Anand Kumar announced that he would open a Super 30 centre in Guwahati soon and take up ten students every year from the Bodo community.
“When the students from rich families avail of all sorts of facilities, the poor students remain deprived from their educational rights,” he said.
Anand Kumar who is well known as a Mathematician mentioned in his speech that education is the strongest tool for gaining knowledge and to serve the nation. He further said a biopic titled as Super 30 on his life will soon be released.
In his inaugural speech, Bodo Sahitya Sabha president Toren Boro observed BTAD has not been able to fulfill the demand of the Bodos adequately. “Therefore there is no alternative to Bodoland,” he said.
The closing ceremony of the golden jubilee celebration was marked by the cultural demonstration of different ethnic groups. Earlier on second day of the event a national conclave was held on the topic “Tribal struggles in India; it’s past, present and future.”
