Along with most parts of the Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD) region, the 12 hours BTAD bandh called by the Koch Rajbongshi Jatiya Sanmilani passed off peacefully in the entire Udalguri district on Friday.
There was no report of any untoward incident during the bandh period.
Vehicular traffic was off the road, while all business establishments kept their shutters down.
However, the schools and colleges having examination centres functioned normally.
The bandh was called by the organization against the recent land policy adopted by the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) authority in the region and demanding dissolution of the BTC.
