Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday said her government is planning to introduce virtual courts in the country.

While speaking at the National Judicial Conference in Bangladesh, Hasina said that a virtual court will reduce the risk and problems of moving dangerous criminals in and out of jails as there is a huge possibility of their escape while travelling to a court with the police.

She also said that she want the people of her country to get justice and shelter of law in a way that is described in their constitution.

As per reports, the Prime Minister is thinking of introducing virtual court to ensure that people of Bangladesh do not have to suffer as her and get speedy justice.

“I do not want others to wait for justice for years, the way I had to, while bearing the pain of losing their kith and kin,” she added.

Hasina also claimed that mobile courts in Bangladesh have gained popularity among people as it hands out immediate punishment to culprits.

The prime minister also stated about the coordination among parliament, judiciary, and executive are important for peaceful development of a country.
