The National Tribal Book Festival cum Bodoland Book and Trade Fair will be held at Bodofa Cultural Complex of Kokrajhar from 10-20 March.
The fair is organized by Bodo Writers Academy in collaboration with National Book Trust and with help of BTC authority said Rajen Basumatry, President of Bodo Writers Academy on monday at Kokrajhar.
The Bodo Writers Academy will award the Asha Rani Mochahary Literary Award, 2018 to Dhirju Jyoti Basumatary of Bijni in Chirang district. This award is presented every year to deserving Bodo writers.
Basumatary got a literary award for her bodo poem book “Aabarini Jiuni Scash”.
“Guests from Indonesia, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Japan will participate in the National Tribal Book Festival cum Bodoland Book and Trade Fair.A tribal food festival will be organized”, said Rajen Basumatary, President of Bodo Writers Academy.
