Renowned oncologist Dr Gurdeep Singh Sethi will participate in a talk on the problems faced by cancer patients during Covid-19 crisis on Saturday at 4 pm, which will be streamed Live on Facebook and Youtube.
Dr Gayatri Ghadiok will host the talk organized by Health Travellers Worldwide.
Dr Gurdeep Singh Sethi is an American Board Certified oncologist and Founder of Millennium Cancer Center.
“They will be discussing the problems faced by cancer patients during these tough times including fears, anxiety, children coping with cancer, delayed treatment, screening and restoring patient confidence as well as discussing the evolving cancer care to meet current times,” Health Travellers Worldwide said in a statement.
“The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic is bringing up fears and questions amongst those who have been through cancer treatment. We are here to subside those fears and instill confidence in patients by giving informed medical advice by top experts,” it added.
During the talk doctors will give advice on how to stay safe in these uncertain times.
“They will address common misconceptions and clear the air on the many myths surrounding Coronavirus and this pandemic. Ask your questions and get immediate answers from our experienced doctors,” the statement said.
The entire Fb Live Session would be around 45 minutes, allowing the last 15 minutes to be for the audience to ask questions to the doctor.
