The Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) has been declared MCI Regional Centre for Medical Education Technologies for the entire northeast region.

The Medical Council of India (MCI) bestowed this honour on JMCH.
Under this program JMCH will provide necessary training camps on medical education technologies to faculties of 19 medical colleges in the north eastern region and part of West Bengal.

Professor Dr D Hazarika , principal cum chief superintendent of JMCH said “This will definitely facilitate capacity building of doctor teachers of the region in various aspects of medical education.”

Jorhat Medical College and Hospital is a medical college and medical research public university based in Jorhat, Assam, India. This is the fourth medical college of the state. The college operates under the State Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Assam
