Manipur Assam: Mid-day meal cook murdered inside school by brother-in-law

Guwahati: A horrific accident on Tuesday night claimed the lives of two individuals and left two others critically injured atop the flyover near B Borooah College at Ulubari in Guwahati, Assam.

Reports state that the incident occurred following a collision between two motorcycles.

The deceased have been identified as Rakesh Das and Paraweshwar Deka, cousins residing in a rented house in Silpukhuri.

Responding swiftly, the Bhangagarh Police reached the scene and secured the area.

While retrieving the bodies of the deceased, they also rushed the injured individuals to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in critical condition.

People nearby said that the bikes were speeding and were “hardly” following any rules. Both the motorcycles had a head-on collision.
