The Dzükou Valley, a valley located at the border of the States of Nagaland and Manipur, is all set to host Dzukou Valley Festival from October 19 to October 25, 2018.

Situated at an altitude of 2452 m above the sea level, behind the Japfü Peak located in Nagaland, Dzükou Valley is well known for its natural environment, seasonal flowers and flora and fauna.

According to information the valley is located 25 km from Kohima, the State capital of Nagaland.

Prasanta Talukdar, a traveller and socio-cultural worker on tweeted on Friday: “Dzukou Valley’ is d most breath taking landscapes & home of Angami tribe. For d 1st time, the Dept of Tourism is going to host a festival here in October. Those who have plan to explore the valley, the festival will be d perfect time.”

As per Times Travel,  the Dzukou Valley is one of Nagaland’s most prized possessions. Its rolling verdant hills have evoked many a travel musings, and it is now ready to introduce some fun in the form of Dzukou Valley Festival. Beyond all the crowded touristy areas of northeast India, lies the unparalleled Dzukou Valley, which is a highlight for Nagaland Tourism.

According to information, the seven-day event will be a festival full of music, dance, food, and drinks.

“One of the main attractions of this place is the wide range of flowers that bloom every season. So, those who are interested in nature walks and photography can have a great time. You can spend a day exploring the valley and meeting locals. The festival will have bonfires set up at night, and we assure you that the night sky is mostly magnificently lit up,” reported Times Travel.
