Congress to kick start campaign in Meghalaya with musical night on January 30

Congress will kick-start its election campaign in Meghalaya, with a musical night on January 30.

Party President Rahul Gandhi, will be in the state to launch the campaign with the two-hour long concert called Meghalaya: Celebrate Peace and Way of Life.

The party has invited big musical bands of the state to perform at the event.

The event is aimed at showcasing the cultural traditions of Meghalaya and help the Congress connect with local youths.

The star attraction and the newly appointed president of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Rahul Gandhi, will visit Jowai, the headquarters of West Jaintia Hills district in the State on January 30.
