8-year-old Nilakshi Devi, won the first position in All India Xatriya and Folk Dance Competition in Kolkata. The All India Xatriya and Folk Dance Competition was held at Kolkata from December 24. The competition was a seven-day event where a number of dancers took part from all over the country.
Nilakshi is the daughter of Mahadeb Nath and Konmoni Devi of Kalaigaon. Kalaigaon is a town in Udalguri district of Assam.
