Xiaomi gears up to launch its new smartphone Mi CC9 Pro on November 5.
According to media reports, Mi CC9 Pro will be Xiaomi’s first phone to sport a periscope lens that will bring support for 50x digital zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 5x optical zoom.
In a promo video released by the company on Tuesday, Xioami revealed about the zoom prowess of the new smartphone.
In another video released on Wednesday, the company has revealed about the zoom capabilities of the smartphone and also its entire design.
Apart from Roy Wang from popular TF Boys, Xiaomi has also roped in 18-year old Zhang Zifeng Chinese actress as the new brand ambassador for promoting Mi CC9 Pro.

The latest promo video, for the first time, shows the entire front side of the new smartphone which is ready to hit the global markets.
The Mi CC9 Pro houses a 6.47-inch OLED display that offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
According to Xiaomi’s advertisements, the new smartphone will be a true camera phone with 108 MP sensor.
It will have a 5x telephoto lens which allows the CC9 Pro to reach 50x hybrid zoom.
It will also come with a 20 MP wide-angle shooter with 117-degree FoV and a macro sensor that can take photos from a 1.5 cm distance.
The new smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 730G processor which is currently the next best chipset after the Snapdragon 855/855+ flagship SoC.
The SoC is coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM. The device is expected to offer up to 256 GB of native storage.
The Mi CC9 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie and it could be featuring the latest MIUI 11 skin.
The display of the phone is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
The front notch is fitted with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The 108-megapixel penta-lens system with a pair of dual LED flash units can be seen on the rear shell of the device.
The handset is packed with a 5,170mAh minimum capacity battery that may carry support for 30W rapid charging technology. Besides, it features a 3.5mm audio jack.
