Mahindra has officially launched the Thar Roxx in India, with prices starting from Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base MX1 trim.
The top-spec trim’s price will be revealed closer to delivery.
The company has announced various trim options, including MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3, AX5, and AX7, with both petrol and diesel engine choices.

The Thar Roxx measures 4,428 mm in length and 1,870 mm in width, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm.
It boasts a 447L boot space, 57L fuel tank, and 650 mm water-wading depth.
The SUV comes with two engine options – 2.0L turbo-petrol and 2.2L turbo-diesel – paired with 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions.

The Thar Roxx features a range of amenities, including a 10.25-inch infotainment unit, powered seats, sunroof options, connected car tech, Level-2 ADAS, and a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
Off-road aids include crawl control and selectable terrain control modes.
Test drives will begin on September 14, and bookings will open on October 3.
Deliveries are expected to start by Dussehra. The Thar Roxx is available in seven colour options, all paired with a black-painted roof.
