Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Research Scientist I (Non-medical).

Salary : Rs. 56000/- + 27% HRA per month

Eligibility Criteria :

First Class Post Graduate Degree in Psychology, including the integrated PG degrees.

Second Class Post Graduate Degree in Psychology, including the integrated PG degrees with PhD.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:

Experience in working with schools/colleges/adolescent mental health initiatives
Experience with managing teams and/or leading research projects
Good academic writing skills in English and research publications
Competence in using quantitative and qualitative analysis tools – SPSS, Nvivo/Atlas.ti etc.

Job Roles :

Liaising with stakeholders for research permissions and coordinating meetings
Conducting data collection
Assisting in creation of content for well-being related modules and other content required as part of project deliverables
Organising meetings and maintaining minutes
Maintaining comprehensive records of all research goals and methods, and writing research reports and manuscripts
Training teams as part of research interventions and conducting capacity building workshops altogether
Data entry and management and also all data analysis
Any other work as also assigned by Supervisor(s)
