Applications are invited for recruitment of various medical positions or career in RBI Assam.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Medical Consultant (MC) on contractual basis. The Reserve Bank of India came into being on April 1, 1935. The RBI came into being in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The Central Office of the Reserve Bank initially came into being in Kolkata. The Office later became established in Mumbai in 1937. The Central Office is where the Governor sits and where policies are formulated. Though originally privately owned, since nationalisation in 1949, the Reserve Bank is fully owned by the Government of India.

Qualification :

  1. The applicant should possess MBBS degree of any recognized University in the allopathic system of medicine;
  2. Applicants having post graduate degree in General Medicine can also apply for the post;
  3. The applicant should have a minimum of 02 (two) years of experience of practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic as Medical Practitioner

Selection Procedure :

The Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi, will held an interview for filling up the posts of Medical Consultant (MC) on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration
