Pragjyotish College Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Assistant Professor in Sanskrit. Pragjyotish College, established on 1st September 1954, seven years after Independence, became a beacon of learning and a symbol of aspirations altogether for the common people of Assam, raring to build a new nation. Pandit Tirthanath Sarma, eminent scholar and litterateur altogether, responded to and actively participated in the nation building by taking charge as the founder Principal of Pragjyotish College. From its modest inception as an arts college, Pragjyotish College has now developed into also one of the premier institutions of higher education in Guwahati.

Eligibility Criteria :
Educational qualification and the selection procedure will be as per Govt. Office Memorandum No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated 24-01-2022 with NET/SLET/SET altogether as mandatory eligibility conditions.
Age Limit : The age limit of the candidate as per the prevailing rule of Assam Government.
