Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or career in Numaligarh Refinery Limited Assam.

Numaligarh Refinery Limited Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Advisor (Power Purchase) on contractual basis. Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) is a leading Miniratna Category-I PSU engaged in the business of Refining and Marketing of petroleum products with state-of-the-art facilities. All set to ramp up its refinery capacity from 3 to 9 MMTPA, NRL’s mega project includes amongst others, import of Crude Oil at Paradip Port and laying of Cross Country Pipeline from Paradip to Numaligarh to transport the same. Post commissioning of the Refinery, there is an estimated power demand of approx. 250 MW for NRL. The power market is evolving in India with new regulations and instruments introduced to make power market more efficient. The government is also emphasizing decarbonization of the grid with transition to renewable power sources.

Qualification & Experience :

B.E/B.Tech / equivalent from a recognized institution/ university.
Minimum 20 years of experience (as on last date of receiving application) in the Power sector in India.
Out of 20 years, minimum 5 years experience in Leadership role in an organization dealing directly with power market/power trading. Candidate should be conversant with the regulatory framework of power sector in India, power tariff break- up and future direction of the power market in India

Age Limit : Age should not be more than 63 years as on last date of receiving application.
