National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in the project entitled “Design and Modeling of Lab-On-Chip based Bio-reactors Capable of Mimicking Human Glomerulus Ultrafiltration and Reabsorption Function of Proximal Tubule of Kidney for in vivo implantation.” The Institute has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview on the basis of screening. No candidate may be recruited suitable candidates are not found.

Essential Qualification :
M.E/M. Tech in ECE/EIE/Biomedical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering (Specialization in microfluidics & MEMS) or any allied branch& specialization with minimum 8.0 CGPA and good academic record from a recognized University/Institute. Qualification of GATE/ NET/National level examination by central government department/agencies/institute is mandatory.
Desirable :
The candidate should have experience in working with microfluidics and MEMS simulation tool, Knowledge of bio-logical background related to the project work.

Salary : Rs.37000/- per month. HRA along with other allowances/increment will be provided as per project/ institute Norms.
