Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of JRF (GATE) in a DST funded project entitled, “Machine-Learning Enabled Next-Generation IoT Communications” at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati altogether commenced in 1995. At present the Institute also has altogether eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati’s campus is altogether on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city Guwahati. IIT Guwahati is also the only academic institution in India that occupied a place among the top 100 world universities.

Qualification :
BE/B.Tech or ME/ M.Tech or MSc.in relevant area with one of the following:
i) Valid GATE score in past or
ii) Successful selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs,DRDO,
MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc,IISCR etc.
Selection Procedure :
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Online Interview on 19 June 2024 (Wednesday) at 10 .00 AM onwards.
Only shortlisted candidates will be sent call letters.
No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants for appearing in the online interview.
Recruitment of selected candidate will be subjected to verification of original certificates
