Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of JRF (GATE) in the project entitled “Design, Development, and Demonstration of Solar-PV integrated On-board and Off-board Electric-Rickshaw Charging Infrastructure” at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati altogether commenced in 1995. At present the Institute also has altogether eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati’s campus is altogether on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city Guwahati. IIT Guwahati is also the only academic institution in India that occupied a place among the top 100 world universities.

Qualification :
B.E/B Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with GATE in EE specialization.
The candidates should preferably have knowledge in Power Electronic Converter simulation and
hardware development
Salary : Rs. 37830/- per month
Selection Procedure :
A walk-in-interview will be held on 20 May 2024 (Monday) at 10 AM in Meeting Room, Department of EEE, IIT Guwahati, Assam
