Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Associate-II in the project entitled “Program support for training and capacity building in NE region.” Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati altogether commenced in 1995. At present the Institute also has altogether eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati’s campus is altogether on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city Guwahati. IIT Guwahati is also the only academic institution in India that occupied a place among the top 100 world universities.

Qualification :
Essential: MSc chemistry. GATE + 2 years or more of research experience in molecular fluorescence
proven by publication in reputed international journals.
Desirable: Experience in UV-visible spectrophotometer, steady state and time resolved fluorimeter.
Pay Scale : Rs. 35000/- + 16% HRA per month

The interview will be held by the 19/04/24 for the shortlisted candidates (tentative).
Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the test and interview altogether
