Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Interns under 3 (three) months internship programme in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) under a research project entitled “Healthcare Empowerment through Real-time Insurance Assessment.” The internship will be conducted from first week of May 2024 till end of July 2024 (tentatively). The project involves development of a real-time mobile application for insurance assessment. Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG) is an institution of National Importance under an Act of Parliament (THE INDIAN INSTITUTES OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP) ACT, 2017). It offers B.Tech. courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science Engineering (CSE), M.Tech. courses in CSE and ECE and also runs PhD programmes in ECE, CSE, Mathematics, and Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS). IIITG is one of the 20 IIITs altogether set up by the Central Govt. in PPP mode. A Bill (Act of Parliament) to declare all the PPP-IIITs (including IIITG) as Institutes of National Importance was also pass in both the houses of the Indian parliament in July, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria :
Applicant must fulfil the following criteria:
1. Students in B.Tech/M.Tech of CSE/IT department.
2. The candidate should have the basic knowledge of Real-time systems and Cloud Computing, Internet of Things.
3. Desired Technical Skills: Android studio, Java, Python/Django, MySQL/Mongo DB, Postman, AWS server.
