Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Sr. Financial Advisor on deputation basis. The selected candidates will be appointed on deputation basis on Foreign Service term for a period of three years, which may be curtailed or extended further in the interest of administrative exigencies. ICMR is an apex body in India for formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research. It conducts, coordinates and implements medical research for the benefit of the Society. It is also responsible for translating medical innovations in to products/processes and introducing them in to the public health system

Eligibility Criteria :
Central Government Officers of all organized Accounts Service, Group ‘A’ or Central Secretariat Service:
(a) holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department;
OR
(b) with 3 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto
on a regular basis in Level -13 of pay Matrix ( Rs.1,23,100-2,15,900) in the parent cadre/department.
Desirable :
Experience in Health Sector and/ or in Research Organizations and/or Finance/Accounts.
Age : Below 58 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Job Roles :
(i) To be responsible for control of Finance/Budget of ICMR, maintenance of accounts and internal audit & (ii) to advise the Director General, ICMR on all financial matters.
