Name of post : Faculty (Marine Chief Engineer) on contract basis

Qualification :
a) Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
b) Certificate of Competency (COC) issued or recognised by DGS, Government of India, as
Marine Engineer Officer Class I (MEO Class I) – Unlimited Horse Power.
Experience :
Essential : Should have sailed as Chief Engineer on Indian or Foreign going Ships.
Desirable:
a) Candidates who have teaching experience in DGS approved Institutes.
b) Sailing Experience on Gas Tankers as Chief Engineer / Second Engineer.
c) Done a “Vertical Integration Course on Training (VICT)” OR “Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA)” course prior to 1st Oct 2018 conducted by DGS approved Institutes.

Name of post : Faculty (Electrical and Electronics Engineer) on contract basis

Qualification : Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.
Experience :
Essential: Minimum of 15 years of teaching experience out of which minimum 5 years of teaching in DGS approved Marine Engineering Training Institutes.
Desirable: Done a “Vertical Integration Course on Training (VICT)” OR “Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA)” course prior to 1st Oct 2018 conducted by DGS approved Institutes
