Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Teaching Assignments in various disciplines. Teaching engagement will be for one semester, renewable for one more semester, with maximum of 11 months. Engagement would also be considered as guest faculty, as per need of the university.

Disciplines :
(A) SCIENCES : UG teaching for Engineering students for teaching sciences, including Physics,
Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology for Engineers. The syllabi for these courses will be as per AICTE guidelines. These courses involve laboratory component(s) as well as projects, demonstrations etc.
(B) Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics, workshop, Design Thinking etc : UG teaching for Engineering students for teaching Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics, workshop, Design Thinking etc. The syllabi for these courses will be as per AICTE guidelines. These courses involve laboratory components(s) as well as projects, demonstrations etc.
(C) Computer Science and Engineering : Teaching M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering subjects, and UG Computer subjects. The syllabi for these courses will be as per AICTE guidelines. These courses involve laboratory components(s) as well as projects, demonstrations etc.
Eligibility Criteria :
(A) SCIENCES : As per AICTE/ UGC norms (for teaching UG/PG Engineering program(s). The preference will be given to those teachers who have already suitable experience to teach multiple subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (for engineers). The applicants may also apply for their preferred/ specialized individual/ group of subjects from amongst Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology for engineers. Persons having teaching experience in Engineering Colleges will be preferred.
(B) Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics, workshop, Design Thinking etc : As per AICTE/ UGC norms (for teaching UG/PG Engineering program(s)). Specialization preferred in the areas of Electrical engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Civil Engineering and its allied subjects. Persons having teaching experience in Engineering Colleges will be preferred.
(C) Computer Science and Engineering : As per AICTE/ UGC norms altogether (for teaching UG/PG Engineering program(s).
