Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 69 vacant positions or career of Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) (Class-III post).

Pay Scale : P.B.-3, Rs. 25,000/- to 92,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 11000/-

Qualification & Experience :

i. Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55%
marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com) or minimum 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject or 55% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics/Statistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc)

ii. For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe
minimum qualification marks in a bachelor degree is 50%.

iii. Possess proficiency in computer application and having diploma certificate in computer
application with minimum duration of 3 (three) months

Age Limit :

The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024. The upper age limit is relaxable :

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years

(iii) For Ex-Servicemen, the maximum age shall be 50 (Fifty) years as on 01/01/2024 for Unreserved
category, relaxable further by 3 (Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 (Five) years for
SC/ST candidates

(iv) Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates
