How do you register for an SBI Card online?

Step 1: Go to the website www.sbicard.com. 

Step 2: Click on the tab “First Time User”.

Step 3: Provide some details, such as the Credit card number, CVV number, card expiry date, and cardholder’s date of birth.

Step 4: Click the tab “Proceed”.

Step 5: Fill in the OTP that is received on the registered mobile.

Step 6: Click “Proceed”.

Step 7: Provide the preferred User ID along with the password, and then confirm the same password.

Step 8: The username and password are now generated.

Step 9: To access the services in the SBI online account, visit www.sbicard.com and log in using your credentials.

Steps to Activate SBI Internet Banking 

Mentioned below are the steps to get SBI Internet Banking activated:

  • Visit the official web portal of SBI for internet banking (https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/)
  • Click “Personal Banking Login”.
  • Now, click the tab “New User Registration/ Activation”.
  • Provide your registered mobile number, account number, branch code, CIF number, branch code, and country code.
  • Now, under the option “Facility needed”, select either “View”, “Restricted Transactions”, or “Full Transactions”.
  • Click on “I agree to the terms and conditions”.
  • Provide the OTP received on the mobile number registered with the bank. 
  • If you have an ATM card, the registration can be completed, and internet banking services can be enabled.
  • Select the option “I have my ATM Card” and click “Submit”.
  • Validate your debit card by verifying the ATM card credentials.
  • Create your permanent username.
  • Create a Login password. Click “Submit”.
  • The registration is completed.

How to Login to SBI Credit Card?

Once the successful registration is complete using Internet banking, one can now log in to the SBI portal by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the link https://www.sbicard.com/creditcards/app/user/login. 

Step 3: Enter all your details and then click “Submit”. 

Step 4: An OTP will then be received on the registered mobile number. 

Step 5: Enter the OTP in the relevant field to complete verification.

Steps to Add SBI Credit Card using Internet Banking

Let us suppose you hold an SBI Cashback Credit Card and want to add the same using Internet banking; follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: With the help of an user ID and password, get access to internet banking of SBI.

Step 2: Click the tab “Bill Payments”.

Step 3: Now click on the tab “Manage Biller”.

Step 4: Under the tab “Manage Biller”, click the option “Add”.

Step 5: Now, click on “All India Billers” and then select SBI Card.

Step 6: To register the biller information, provide the name and credit card number. Now click “Submit.”

Step 7:  Now, an OTP will be received on the registered mobile number.

Step 8: Next, provide the OTP and give consent to the biller information provided.

How to Change SBI Internet Banking Password?

Mentioned below are the steps to change the SBI internet banking password:

Step 1: Open the website www.sbicard.com. 

Step 2: Click the tab “Forgot your User ID or Password”.

Step 3: Enter the 16-digit credit card number and CVV Number along with the date of birth.

Step 4: After clicking “Proceed”, an OTP will be received on the registered mobile number. 

Step 5: After entering the OTP received, create a new password.

Step 6: Verify the same password and click “Confirm” to validate the changes. 

How to Reset SBI Credit Card PIN?

  1. Via Online Mode:

Mentioned below are the steps to reset your SBI card PIN online:

Step 1: Open the SBI card website i.e. www.sbicard.com.

Step 2: Log in to the SBI card online account. 

Step 3: Now, click “My Account”.

Step 4: Choose the option “Manage PIN”.

Step 5: Choose from the drop-down menu the credit card for which the PIN is to be changed. 

Step 6: Provide the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

Step 7: Now, provide the new credit card PIN.

Step 8: Click on “Submit”. The Pin is now successfully reset.

  1. Through IVR:

Mentioned below are the steps to reset your SBI card PIN through IVR:

Step 1: Call 3902 02 02 (prefix local STD code) or 1860 180 1290 to reset the credit card PIN.

Step 2: Press number “6” to enter the credit card details along with the Date of birth.

Step 3: Validate the OTP received on the registered E-mail ID and mobile number to reset the PIN.

How to make SBI Credit Card Bill Payment through Paynet?

Mentioned below are the steps to make an SBI credit card bill payment through the Paynet option available online:

Step 1: Log in to the official SBI card portal.

Step 2: On the Dashboard, click “Pay Now”.

Step 3: Enter the desired amount to be paid.

Step 4: Validate the details and then authorise the payment via the bank’s payment interface.

Step 5: The bank account will then be debited online, and a Transaction Reference Number (TRN) will be auto-generated, containing the details of the transaction done.

Step 6: The TRN will be received on the registered mobile number and e-mail ID.
