IIT Roorkee on Friday declared the JEE Advanced Result 2019. Kartikey Chandresh Gupta has topped the entrance exam.

How to check JEE Advanced Result 2019

IIT-Roorkee has announced JEE Advanced result on June 14 (Friday) at jeeadv.ac.in. The seat allotment and counselling will soon be held by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

A total number of 1,65,319 candidates had appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2019. A total of 38,705 candidates have qualified JEE (Advanced) 2019, initial reports said.

The JEE (Advanced) exam 2019 was conducted on May 27, 2019 (Monday). The first shift was held from 9 am to noon and the second shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.

This is the second leg of exam for admission to the IITs in India. The first test — JEE Main was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

After declaration of JEE Mains 2019 results, 2.5 lakhs students had qualified for the JEE (Advanced) exam 2019. But, only 1.65 lakh registered for Advanced.

Of the total qualified candidates of JEE (Advanced) 2019 examination, 5,356 are females. Kartikey Chandresh Gupta of Ballarpur is the top ranker in Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE (Advanced) 2019. He obtained 346 marks out of 372 marks.

Shabnam Sahay of Madhapur is the top ranked female with CRL 10. She obtained 308 marks out of 372 marks.

This year, the cut-off for the unreserved category for JEE Advanced was at 89.754 NTA score and for EWS and OBC students it was 78.217 and 74.316 respectively.

For those from SC and ST category, a score of 74.316 and 54.012 respectively in JEE Main would make them eligible for JEE Advanced and for PwD category students, the same is 0.113.

Since the results of JEE (Advanced) 2019 has been declared, the seat allotment and counselling will now be handled by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
