Sarkar said that the ruling Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) government in BTC and the BJP government in Assam had failed to address and work on the genuine issues of the scheduled caste people.

“The Union had put forward their various demands, submitted memorandum, staged dharnas but the government have failed to fulfill and addressed the issues and have not taken any step to bring the SC community in the larger framework of development,” Sarkar added.
